THE OPPORTUNITY

NAVATIR is looking for an exceptional Senior Key Account Manager with deep banking expertise, established relationships with senior decision-makers and the commercial ability to turn strategic conversations into long-term business partnerships.

This is not a traditional software sales role.

We are looking for someone who understands how banks operate, how they make decisions, where they generate revenue, where they lose efficiency and how they manage financial and regulatory risk.

Someone who can sit across the table from a CEO, CRO, COO, Head of Corporate Banking, Head of Transaction Banking or MLRO and ask the questions that matter:

  1. Where can the bank generate additional revenue?
  2. Where can operational costs be reduced?
  3. Where can decisions become faster, smarter and better informed?
  4. Where can financial crime, counterparty and regulatory risks be mitigated?
  5. And how can NAVATIR deliver measurable value in each of these areas?

The ideal candidate combines banking credibility, strong commercial instincts and the ability to navigate complex enterprise sales processes.

Their role begins by opening the right doors — but does not end with an introduction.

They will own the commercial relationship from the first conversation through discovery, solution positioning, business case development, pilot coordination, negotiations and contract closure.

ABOUT NAVATIR

NAVATIR is a technology company transforming fragmented global trade data into trusted, decision-grade intelligence for banks and financial institutions.

Our platform provides deeper visibility into global commerce — revealing the companies, counterparties, products, trade flows and declared values behind international markets.

By combining verified trade intelligence, advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities, NAVATIR helps financial institutions uncover commercial opportunities, strengthen risk assessment and make more informed decisions.

Our purpose is simple: to reveal the ground truth behind global markets.

THE MISSION

Your job is to make the client successful — and turn that success into sustainable commercial growth.

You represent NAVATIR, but you think from the client’s side of the table.

Instead of asking

“How can we sell NAVATIR to this bank?”

You ask

“What is this bank trying to achieve? Where is it losing revenue, efficiency or opportunity? What risks is it carrying? And how can NAVATIR materially improve those outcomes?”

You will translate these conversations into specific use cases, credible business cases and measurable commercial opportunities.

Your work will focus on three strategic pillars:

01

Grow revenue

Identify how better company, market, trade and financial intelligence can help banks:

  • Acquire new corporate clients and identify high-potential prospects.
  • Uncover cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing portfolios.
  • Increase wallet share and deepen corporate banking relationships.
  • Identify opportunities in trade finance, working capital and letters of credit.
  • Improve relationship-manager productivity through better client and market intelligence.
  • Identify market opportunities that may not be visible through traditional banking data.
Your objectiveDemonstrate how NAVATIR can help banks unlock additional revenue from both existing and prospective clients.
02

Reduce cost

Identify opportunities to streamline research, due diligence, onboarding and analytical workflows through better data, intelligence and AI-enabled capabilities.

Help banks build credible business cases for:

  • Reducing time spent on manual company and counterparty research.
  • Improving the efficiency of KYC and due diligence processes.
  • Accelerating credit, risk and commercial assessments.
  • Reducing duplicated analytical work across departments.
  • Improving access to reliable, decision-ready intelligence.
  • Supporting faster, more consistent decision-making.
Your objectiveDemonstrate how better intelligence can translate into measurable operational efficiency.
03

Mitigate risk

Demonstrate how verified trade intelligence can strengthen financial institutions’ ability to identify, assess and monitor commercial and financial risks.

Relevant use cases include:

  • KYC and ongoing customer due diligence.
  • AML investigations and trade-based money-laundering risk indicators.
  • Counterparty and supply-chain risk assessment.
  • Trade finance transaction verification.
  • Credit risk and commercial exposure monitoring.
  • Identification of unusual trading patterns, inconsistencies and changes in counterparty behaviour.

Help clients understand not only where NAVATIR can provide additional risk intelligence, but also how evidence-based insights can support more transparent, consistent and defensible decision-making.

Your objectiveHelp banks strengthen their existing risk-management processes with deeper external commercial intelligence.
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

You will take ownership of strategic banking relationships and commercial opportunities throughout the entire enterprise sales lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and developing relationships with senior decision-makers at major European banks and financial institutions.
  • Proactively identifying, qualifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Leading executive-level meetings, discovery sessions and strategic client discussions.
  • Understanding each institution’s business priorities, operational challenges and decision-making processes.
  • Translating NAVATIR’s technology, data and AI capabilities into specific, high-value banking use cases.
  • Delivering tailored platform demonstrations focused on the client’s priorities rather than generic product presentations.
  • Developing ROI models and business cases around revenue growth, operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Identifying economic buyers, business sponsors, technical stakeholders, compliance teams and procurement decision-makers.
  • Navigating complex enterprise procurement, legal, security and technology approval processes.
  • Coordinating NAVATIR’s product, technology, data and compliance experts throughout the sales cycle.
  • Addressing commercial, technical, regulatory and implementation-related objections.
  • Structuring pilot engagements, defining success criteria and coordinating their progression toward commercial agreements.
  • Managing negotiations, commercial proposals and contract closure.
  • Maintaining momentum throughout long and complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Developing existing accounts and identifying opportunities for broader adoption across banking divisions.
  • Building and maintaining a qualified, sustainable pipeline of strategic banking opportunities.

You will be accountable for moving opportunities forward — from initial engagement to signed agreements and successful client adoption.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a senior banking or financial technology professional with extensive industry experience, exceptional relationship-building capabilities and a proven commercial track record.

The ideal candidate brings:

  • Approximately 15+ years of relevant experience in banking, financial technology, enterprise sales or strategic account management.
  • An established professional network across European banking, including direct relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
  • A proven track record in enterprise B2B sales, strategic account development or complex commercial negotiations with financial institutions.
  • A strong understanding of how banks evaluate, procure and implement technology, data and intelligence solutions.
  • The ability to engage confidently with executive stakeholders across corporate banking, transaction banking, risk, compliance, financial crime, operations and technology.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and converting opportunities into signed commercial agreements.
  • Strong consultative selling, business development and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build credible commercial and financial business cases.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-management skills.
  • A high degree of independence, initiative and commercial ownership.
  • Professional fluency in English.

Relevant backgrounds may include

  • Senior Key Account Manager or Enterprise Account Executive serving major banks.

  • Senior Corporate or Transaction Banking professional with strong commercial experience.
  • Banking Solutions or Financial Institutions Sales Executive.
  • Former senior banking professional with subsequent experience selling technology, data or AI solutions to financial institutions.

Experience across multiple European banking markets is highly desirable. Established relationships in APAC or MENA would be an additional advantage.

We value demonstrated commercial impact, institutional credibility and access to decision-makers more than job titles or years of experience alone.

THE PROFILE

This person is commercially ambitious but does not behave like a conventional salesperson.

They listen before they pitch. They understand the bank before demonstrating the product.

They ask intelligent questions, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities that may not initially be obvious to the client.

They can discuss revenue growth with the Head of Corporate Banking, operational efficiency with the COO, credit exposure with the CRO, financial crime with the MLRO and technology integration with the CIO.

Most importantly, they can connect these conversations into one compelling, evidence-based business case.

They are comfortable operating independently, building relationships from the ground up and taking ownership of commercial outcomes.

They understand that access to senior executives is only the beginning — the real value lies in converting those relationships into meaningful business opportunities and long-term partnerships.
